Why I like Britain: In the midst of certain globally apocalyptic climate change, world-wide financial collapse, protracted un-winable armed conflicts, the endless bitching and moaning about MP’s expenses, bankers bonuses and immigration, the whining about the weather, the ever more persistent cultural vacuum of reality/celebrity obsessed media someone still has the bollocks to stand up and say: “What this country needs, what this country REALLY needs is a 7-tonne, blue and yellow rocket car that does a 1000mph!” And then convince sponsors to donate the money to build the thing, and then find someone mad enough to drive it! Genius! Give them all knighthoods!
